Can't remember exactly when I met Beanie but I know it was a long time ago, probably in the late 70's. I think I met Tommy and Beanie together and have never thought of one without thinking of the other. I have always had a great respect for him as a paddler and a friend. He was always gracious and always had a kind word and a winning smile. He will be missed and not forgotten.
